In addition, beginning in 2004, Serchlite launched a sports
entertainment marketing division that has included exciting
new projects like a quarterly Double CD Compilation for ESPN
The Magazine, called The Mix, that is used at ESPN The Magazine’s
special events. Additionally, we do music consulting and clearance
work with ESPN programming as well as for the ESPN.COM. Division.
Serchlite’s Events Division this year (2005) has continued
it's tradition of throwing some of the biggest and hottest parties
in the country, including events for both the NFL and NBA
Drafts, The Hummer and H3 Official Pre-Draft Celebrity Bash in
partnership with ESPN The Magazine and The NBA Pre-Draft Celebrity
Bash, along with our 3 month long promotion Monday Night Football
Madness in NYC.
All in all, we are a small and focused group of workaholics that
strive to bring fresh looks to the music, artists and corporations
we are working with. From radio campaigns to artist
developement, to designing and implementing elaborate marketing campaigns,
to album release parties, sports events, joint ventures and
the like, we strive to provide fresh, innovative and compelling looks
for all of our clients.
HOW DO WE WORK WITH YOUR TEAM
Serchlite is an extension of your own team. From the moment we
are hired we not only do our work but we will work within the parameters
of your team’s guidelines so that we can get a sense of the
vision you have for your project. This includes designing
and implementing National marketing and/or promotional campaigns,
to activating and managing national street teams, from online distribution
to executive producing your launch party or event. We are the complete
package. We want you to feel as if we are giving your team
extra players that can provide balance and strength when extra
hands are needed. This type of partnership can do nothing
but provide peace of mind to you and your staff. We will speak
to everyone from the athlete, to the agent, the artist, to the
label, the management team, to the attorney, down to the street
team member to ensure that your company gets the attention it deserves. We
provide all the members of your team with our numbers, from our
home to email so that there is no lapse in communication.
DEFINITION OF TERMS
At the beginning of the project we expect that our partner provides
us with an understanding of what they expect from us and in what
kind of time frame they are looking for this goal to be reached. We
then will give you, as accurately as we can, what this will cost
us as a company and if the time line is accurate and attainable. If
we feel that we cannot do the task at hand, our motto is A Yes
is Yes, A No is No and an "I don’t know is an I don’t
know". We will be forthright in our answers and will tell
you honestly if we can handle the task. In most cases, we work
on a 6 month contract basis when dealing with marketing and promotional
clients. This is because there is certain leverage that can
be achieved with long-term partnerships.
